We’re a little late getting this posted…

Last weekend several of our members attended State Fire School, and we’re incredibly thankful so many were able to go. Opportunities like this allow our firefighters to continue learning, sharpening their skills, and bringing that knowledge back to better serve our community.

We didn’t end up with many photos from the weekend — mostly because everyone was too busy learning and getting hands-on with the training.

Our members attended the following classes:

Karson (our junior firefighter): Building Construction & Fire Behavior, Firefighter Safety, Search & Rescue

Kyle: Alternative Fuels/Electric Vehicle Hazards, Entanglement & Entrapment, Interior Fire Attack, Tactical Thermal Imaging

Cassie: Building Construction & Fire Behavior, Firefighter Safety, Entanglement & Entrapment, Tactical Thermal Imaging

Jason: ABCs of SCBA, Basic Firefighting Skills

Nick: Auto Extrication, Entanglement & Entrapment

Matt: Entanglement & Entrapment, Forcible Entry

Frank: Entanglement & Entrapment, Advanced Auto Extrication

Keith: Fire Service Instructor 1

Jesse: Fire Service Instructor 1

Freedom: Entanglement & Entrapment, Intermediate Rope Rescue

We’re proud of our crew for putting in the time and effort to keep improving. Training like this helps make sure we’re always ready when our community needs us. 🚒

Just a reminder!!

In North Dakota, it's the law. Move over if you see any of these vehicles on the side of the road:

🚨 Emergency vehicles (police, fire, ambulance)
🚨 NDDOT vehicles
🚨 Tow trucks
🚨 All other motor vehicles with flashing hazard lights (e.g., a car with a flat tire)

It prevents crashes and saves lives. Thanks for listening to our TED Talk, and drive safely!

🔥 We’re officially re-opening our Junior Firefighter Program!

If you’ve got a teen (16 or older) who’s curious about firefighting, loves teamwork, or just wants to get involved in something meaningful, this is the perfect place to start. They’ll get to learn real skills, work alongside our crew, and see what it’s like to be part of the department that serves their own community.

We’ll be scheduling a Parent/Student Night once we gather some interest so families can meet the team, ask questions, and get the full rundown of what the program looks like.

If your student might want to join — or if you just want more info — feel free to call, text, or message our page directly.
No pressure, no commitment… just a chance to learn more about a pretty awesome opportunity.

Your friendly neighborhood fire crew here with a quick winter heads-up!
When you’re out shoveling and battling the never-ending North Dakota snowdrifts, don’t forget the “hidden hazards” around your home.

Please take a moment to clear snow away from:
• Natural gas regulators
• Wall-mounted furnace intake and exhaust pipes

When these get buried or blocked, your furnace can’t breathe right—and that can lead to dangerous carbon monoxide buildup or malfunctioning equipment. A few minutes of clearing now can prevent an emergency visit later.

Stay warm, stay safe, and help us help you this winter!
