According to Mammie's people have been asking about cribbage. UPRC discontinued our monthly tournaments due to lack of participation, but we have the boards and score sheets and are happy to re-start if there is community interest. Please message us or email [email protected] if you'd like to see it offered again, and let us know if Wednesday or Thursday evenings would work best for you. Also... we would love to have a volunteer coordinator for this program with some cribbage experience. One of our committee members is willing to oversee, but she has never played, so another possibility would be if someone could meet with her a few times to teach her the basics of the game. We look forward to hearing from you!

We will start the afternoon with art. An assortment of materials, from colored pencils to watercolors and acrylics will be available.

If are isn't your thing we will have two new games: Uzzle and Abducktion for you to try.

We will also be taking a field trip to the Unity Public Library, which is just a short walk from our meeting place.

There is no charge for this program and all area seniors are welcome.

I will have more daylilies available by donation today. These are from the stock of a local hybridizer who is making them available to the town. Unlabeled as to variety and color, but he has put different varieties in each tub he's giving me so if getting multiples you can be assured of an assortment. Suggested donation $4 each or 4/$10 benefits Unity Parks and Recreation and helps with planting costs. Healthy, organically grown bare root plants that won't disappoint! Message me to arrange pickup or email [email protected]
