We had the honor and privilege to help bring Lt. Hunter Seidler home to West Liberty VFD for his funeral. It was a beautiful service. Our hearts go out to his wife and children and his family and also to his firehouse family at West Liberty VFD. Rest easy Hunter. West Liberty and all other departments will take it from here.

To end our EMS week with remembrance day. We want to remember who served and have given the ultimate sacrifice. We remember our special person Tori Crowe-Gearry . She is still missed to this day and will always be love.

What would life be if you didn't celebrate the small moments?? Boring..it would be boring!!
Our youngest group of firehouse kiddos have a reason to celebrate today 🎉 and we couldn't be more proud of them!

During EMS week Wheeling Hospital always gives a first responders picnic. Every year the Jimmy Horton Award is given out to one person who has dedicated their lives to helping others in the EMS world. This year the Award has gone to our very own EMS director and paramedic Albert Bond . Albert along with Mr. Horton and others helped bring EMS into the Ohio Valley. He has taught many first responders about EMS and fire fighting and also has been responding on calls since 1978. He is also a retired RN. He has worked at many area hospitals over his career. If you see any first responders in the ohio valley area there is a big chance this man has been an influence to them. We all would like to say THANK YOU Albert for everything that you have and are still doing for the EMS world.
