Huntertown Families,

We're bringing back a little old-school excitement this summer!

On July 1, class rosters for students entering 1st–5th grade will be posted on the front doors of Huntertown Elementary. We invite families to stop by and experience the excitement of finding out who your teacher will be for the 2026-2027 school year and seeing which friends will be in your class!

Please note that Kindergarten class rosters will not be posted on July 1. Kindergarten placements will be finalized in August following Brigance testing.

Teachers will be reaching out to families at a later date with additional information and welcome messages.

Parents, We need YOU! 🪵

Huntertown Elementary is looking for one more parent representative to join our Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council for the upcoming school year.

Why it matters: The SBDM Council is where big decisions happen. As a parent member, you get a direct vote and voice in shaping our school’s policies, budget, and curriculum. Your perspective is incredibly valuable in making Huntertown the best it can be for our students!

If you want to be a champion for our school community and collaborate closely with our administration and teachers, we need you.

Cue the confetti and happy tears… our 5th graders are officially moving up to middle school! 🎉🎓

We celebrated an amazing group of students who have grown in so many ways as leaders, readers, teammates, problem-solvers, and friends. From classroom memories to hallway laughs, these Wildcats have left their mark on Huntertown in the best way! 🐾💙

We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and cannot wait to see the incredible things they will do next. Middle school, here they come!

Field Day (3-5) may have gotten a surprise plot twist from the weather, but that didn’t stop the fun! 🌧️➡️🏫 We brought the excitement indoors and our Wildcats still ran, played, laughed, and made memories all day long! 🎉

A huge shoutout to Mrs. Waters for making the day so much fun and keeping the energy going no matter where the games happened! 👏💙

And we could not have done it without our amazing parent volunteers — thank you for giving your time, helping hands, and cheering hearts. You helped turn a rainy-day reroute into an unforgettable adventure! ☀️🎈
