💗 Pink for Dolly! 💗

Tomorrow (Friday) Huntertown will wear pink to honor Dolly Parton and her incredible commitment to children and literacy. Through Dolly’s Imagination Library, she has helped put millions of books into the hands of children across the country, inspiring a love of reading and opening doors to endless possibilities. 📚✨

We’re proud to celebrate someone who reminds us that a little kindness, a good book, and a big imagination can change a child’s world.

Thank you, Dolly, for helping us grow lifelong readers!

We’re kicking off a NEW PTO initiative, and we want YOU to join us! Walking Wildcat Wednesday is all about building community, getting outside, enjoying some fresh air, and starting our school day with a little extra positivity! Whether you’re walking from home or parking nearby and meeting up with other Wildcat families, there’s a spot for you!

Meet-Up Locations:
🐾 Edmonds Cross & Hastings Lane🐾 Regent Road & Crown Court🐾 Sea Hero Run Road & Tim Tam Trail

⏰Please be at your meet-up point by 7:20 AM so we can walk together and make it to school by drop-off time!

Can’t walk the whole way? No problem! Park your car at one of our meet-up locations and join the group from there. Let’s walk, talk, laugh, make connections, and start our Wednesdays the Wildcat way!

It’s time to kick off a BRAND NEW school year with Huntertown PTO! 🎉

Our first PTO meeting is TOMORROW — Tuesday, August 18 from 4–5 PM!

📍 In person: Huntertown Elementary Library
💻 Virtual: Join us from wherever you are!

We’ll be talking about:
✨ Fundraising plans
✨ Our goals for the school year
✨ New initiatives we want to bring to Huntertown
✨ And, of course, how YOU can get involved!

You don’t have to be a PTO veteran, have tons of free time, or know exactly what you’re doing. 😉 We want YOU! Whether you can volunteer once, help behind the scenes, share an idea, or jump in all year long, there’s a place for you.

We are excited to share that Smart Snack-approved a la carte snacks are now available for purchase daily during lunch!

Cost: Snacks range in price from $0.50 to $1.00. Please note that these items are separate from regular school meals and require additional funds.

Parental Controls: If you do not want your child to purchase à la carte items, or if you would like to set specific spending limits/restrictions on their account, please contact Courtney Quire, FS Director, [email protected]
