Fisher Ferry Water will start our annual chlorine burn as required by the Ms. State Dept. Of Health, starting Tuesday, June 9, 2026. We will be draining our water tanks and flushing the waterlines to switch over our water from Monochloramines to Chlorine. This will take us all week and maybe into next week to completely turn the system over. We plan to stay on chlorine for June and July.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR WATER EVERY DAY for clarity over the next week, before using for drinking, cooking and washing clothes, especially white and light colored clothes. If discolored water is found, turn your COLD Water faucet on and let it run for a few minutes until clear. You ARE NOT UNDER A BOIL WATER NOTICE, the water is safe to drink.

Fisher Ferry Water District was formed in 1966 to serve areas in south Warren County Mississippi that did not have a central water system. The area currently served is along Halls Ferry and Fisher Ferry Road areas and is approximately 34 square miles. We currently have over 1700 connections and .....
