As a physician, attorney, mother, and community advocate, Dr. Nila has seen firsthand what families are up against every day: rising healthcare costs, expensive prescription drugs, underfunded schools, pressure on working parents, veterans still fighting for the care they earned, and a political system that too often works better for corporations and special interests than it does for everyday people.
