Join us for the next Homeschool Hangout this Wednesday, June 24th, at 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Waddington Library! There will be a few potential presentations about new and exciting technology and software.
Additionally, our current LEGO Build Challenge, ‘The Big Board Game Battle Royale’ will end, and a winner will be decided! Be sure to try out these great games before the next LEGO Build Challenge begins!
Everything else in the library will also be available to use, so feel free to explore and have fun! See you then!

The Waddington Library will be offering tea, cookies, and other snacks and refreshments alongside an opportunity to bring in a piece of technology you have questions about – a phone, tablet, laptop, etc. – and we’ll be happy to help you learn more about it!
This Tech-n’-Tea Time will be happening on Wednesday, June 24th, at 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M!

Additionally, we will once more be offering our brand-new course all about Libby the Library App! This wonderful application that can be downloaded on mobile devices, tablets, and laptops allows you to check out e-Books and Audiobooks for free! It will include everything you need to know about setting up an account, adding your library card, Libby's accessibility options, and so much more! This extra course will only be around for one more week, so be sure to check it out if you're interested.

Tech-n'-Tea Time is completely free, and open to everyone!

Join us this Wednesday, June 24th, at the Waddington Library for the next session of the Exercise Club at 10:30 A.M! This event will feature various casual aerobics and workout videos, all hosted by Cathy and Anne-Marie. It will take place in our comfortable and temperature-controlled Community Room, completely free and open to everyone! See you then!

This year, the Hepburn Library of Waddington’s Summer Reading Program will begin July 13th with a special kick-off event and conclude August 14th at 1pm with a visit from Adirondack Raptors. A change from previous years, community members of all ages are encouraged to participate, including adults! Beginning July 13th anyone interested in participating can pick up a paper log from the library or register on the library’s Readsquared website (waddingtonlibraryny14.readsquared.com). By reading, participants earn points and raffle entries into a grand prize drawing for one of two gift baskets! Additional entries can be earned by attending summer program events at the library, and helping staff find "Digby" the library triceratops (more details to come). The Summer Reading Program is free and open to all community members with a library card. No library card? No problem. Signing up is quick, easy, and completely free! Don’t be afraid to reach out to us with questions. We hope to see you soon!

The Hepburn Library of Waddington is currently accepting applications for the part-time position of Library Substitute.

Per-Diem: 12 hours or less per week, as needed.
Minimum wage, dependent upon experience.
