Wheeler Middle School will be closed tomorrow 9/8/2026 and all activities cancelled.

All Hawai‘i State Department of Education public schools and offices on Oʻahu and in Kauaʻi County will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 8, due to anticipated weather conditions and their potential impacts on safe school operations.

All school-related activities in the affected counties scheduled for Tuesday are also canceled, including athletic events and practices, extracurricular activities, meetings and other school events.

Girls Volleyball Teams were out despite a little bit af drizzle. Coach Chun, Coach Issa, Coach Harris and Coach Rao were running skill drills. Go Spartan Volleyball!

The new WMS Aggies were checking out our WORM composting bins. They will be helping Mr. Watanabe care for them in addition to several other projects organized by Ms. Cesewski and Ms. Rowan.

Our Front Parking Lot will be closed on Friday Sept 4th for our FOOD AND CRAFT FEST. The road fronting WMS will be closed beginning at 12:30 pm that day and will only be open for bus pick up. Open to the public (Tell your friends and neighbors) Our event runs from 2-5 - Earlier if our vendors are ready. Lots of parking available.
