Mr. Townsend was located and found to be in good health. The Maui Police Department thanks the public for their assistance.

ORIGINAL:

The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Mr. Colin Townsend (31) of Kahului.

Mr. Townsend was reported missing by a concerned family member on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, after not hearing from him since October 2025. Mr. Townsend is known to frequent the Kahului area, with an acquaintance reportedly last seeing him around the end of last month near Pulehu Road and Hookele Street in Kahului.

Mr. Townsend does not have a vehicle or cell phone.

Mr. Townsend is described as being Caucasian, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what he was last wearing.

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUEST

The Maui Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in an ongoing arson investigation.

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at approximately 3:10 a.m., police responded to a report of four trash cans on fire at the Honokowai Marketplace. Upon arrival, officers discovered two trash cans ablaze in front of a supermarket, a third near the loading dock, and a fourth on the north side of the shopping center in front of a restaurant.

Video surveillance captured an individual setting the trash cans on fire before fleeing south on foot.

At approximately 5:05 a.m., police received a report of smoke and flames at a condominium located at 2661 Kekaa Drive. Upon arrival, officers located several plastic recycling bins on fire.

The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Andrea Varrichione (55) of Haiku.

Ms. Varrichione was reported missing by a concerned family member on Monday, July 6, 2026, after she was last seen at her Haiku residence on the morning of Saturday, June 6, 2026. She does not have a vehicle or a cell phone.

Ms. Varrichione is described as being Hawaiian, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what she was last wearing.

Ms. Mohr was located. The Maui Police Department thanks the public for their assistance.

ORIGINAL:

The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Nina Sofia Mohr (45) of Texas.

Ms. Mohr was reported missing by a concerned family member on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Ms. Mohr was last seen on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at her friend’s Haiku residence at approximately 7:00 p.m. Her friend contacted Ms. Mohr’s family after discovering she was not at the residence, and her cell phone was left behind. Ms. Mohr does not have a vehicle.

Ms. Mohr is described as Caucasian-Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 150-160 pounds. She has brown hair, usually worn in a bun, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt or tank top with “MAUI” on it, with tan/brown colored shorts. She is not currently wearing eyeglasses.
