As National Police Week comes to a close, the Maui Police Department joined law enforcement agencies from across the state in honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

During the annual Hawaii Law Enforcement Memorial Remembrance Ceremony this evening, Officer Suzanne O was formally added to the Hawaii Law Enforcement Memorial, ensuring her service and sacrifice will be remembered alongside Hawaii’s fallen officers.

This solemn ceremony serves as a reminder that the legacy of those we have lost lives on — in the memorial, in our hearts, and in the continued service of those who carry the badge today.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
