Regarding Nuisance/Industrial activity at 175 Post Rd.

Hearing Details:
• What: Petition #11121 — Appeal by 175 Post Road Realty, LLC
• When: Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 6:00 PM
• Where: City of Warwick Annex Building, Sawtooth Building, 1st Floor Conference Room, 65 Centerville Road, Warwick, RI 02886

How you can help:
1. Attend the hearing. A visible turnout signals that this community is paying attention.
2. Rather than individual comments, a single statement will be read on the neighborhood's behalf and supporters will be asked to raise a hand in agreement.

This is an encroachment to our National Historic District and mars the beautiful entrance to our neighborhood. Please join the community voice!

Notice: Pawtuxet Green Revival
Important Zoning Hearing

The owners of 175 Post Road are asking the Warwick Zoning Board to overturn the Notice of Violation (NOV) that was issued against the property on February 5, 2026. Until this appeal has been heard and denied no enforcement will take place. The Zoning Board issued a decision back in November of 2025 that the use of the property far exceeds its Light Industrial zoning!

Hearing Details:

• When: Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 6:00 PM
• Where: City of Warwick Annex Building, Sawtooth Building, 1st Floor Conference Room, 65 Centerville Road, Warwick, RI 02886

Why this matters:
When the Zoning Board sees a packed room this sends a clear message: the neighborhood does not want heavy industrial tenants abutting residential properties or the Historic District.

The Act of Renunciation from the Crown

On May 4, 1776, Rhode Island renounced allegiance to the British Crown, the first of the colonies to do so. The deciding vote happened at the Old State House.

The reopening of the newly restored State House on Benefit Street was greeted yesterday by the ringing of the bells at 4pm from each of the five original Rhode Island capitals in Providence, Bristol, East Greenwich, Newport, and South Kingstown.

A reading of the Act of Renunciation, a revolutionary document that changed history, took place in the room where it happened. RI led the way two months before the Second Continental Congress declared independence on July 4th. Happy Rhode Island Independence Day!!!
