We are proud to stand by Senator Ed Markey because he has always stood up for trans people when it matters most. He is the lead sponsor of the Trans Bill of Rights.

Seth Moulton threw trans kids under the bus after the 2024 election. He is willing to sacrifice vulnerable people when he thinks there is political advantage in doing so.

The contrast could not be clearer. We’re with Ed.

Pete Hegseth used a slur to attack transgender troops this week.

Earlier this summer, he approved giving cisgender troops testosterone therapy. But at the same time, he argues transgender troops can be kicked out for needing that same hormone therapy.

Same drug. Different standard. That’s discrimination.

Congratulations, Congresswoman-elect Dr. 🎉

Outside groups threw millions at this race trying to buy a seat that belongs to the people of CA-14. They lost. Because dark money doesn’t vote. People do.

Dr. Wahab has never wavered on defending the trans community, and now she’s taking that fight to Washington.

But this fight isn’t over. Dr. Wahab faces the same opponent again in November. Melissa Hernandez voted to ban flying the Pride flag at Dublin City Hall, and CA-14 must reject her once again in November.

On August 18, CA-14 voters choose: Aisha Wahab, the first Muslim and Afghan American ever elected to the CA State Senate, or Melissa Hernandez, who voted against flying the Pride flag at Dublin City Hall.

Tonight, Minnesota Democrats made a clear choice: bold, unapologetic support for trans people wins. 🏳️‍⚧️

Peggy Flanagan has never hedged on transgender rights. Her opponent refused to co-sponsor the Trans Bill of Rights until she was called out in The Advocate. Minnesota Democrats saw through it.

Christopher Street Project was the only national LGBTQ+ organization to endorse Peggy. We made phone calls, ran digital ads, and reached 19,000 Minnesota users on Grindr with a nearly 5.13% click-through rate.

We showed up for Peggy because she has shown up for our community.

Peggy Flanagan will be a historic senator. We’re proud to stand with her.

Last week’s victory was monumental—the first defeat of a standalone anti-trans measure in Congress since Trump returned to office last year.

Republicans tried to codify Trump’s trans military ban. We organized, and we defeated them.

CSP Board Member Ryan Gunderman served 8.5 years alongside troops who risked everything for this country. This administration disgustingly branded her—and thousands of other transgender service members—as dishonorable, untruthful, and undisciplined.

This victory proves them wrong. But the fight is far from over, and we can’t do it alone. Stand with us so we can keep winning. 🏳️‍⚧️

Yesterday’s result sends a clear message: abandoning trans people comes with a political cost.

Shri Thanedar voted to strip healthcare from trans kids in military families. Tonight, voters chose a pro-trans Democrat instead.

Let this be a lesson for elected officials who think our rights are negotiable and our votes  dispensable: we are organized, and we are coming for your seats.

In 2 weeks, Michigan could elect Donavan McKinney to Congress, the 7th new pro-trans champion CSP sends this year.

He’s spent his career fighting LGBTQ+ people, and working families. His opponent voted to strip gender-affirming care from trans kids in military families.

It’s time we elect more champions for trans rights and dignity.

Thank you Governor Gretchen Whitmer for being a fierce ally for LGBTQ+ Michiganders. She banned conversion therapy, outlawed the gay and trans panic defense, and vetoed legislation that would have cut gender-affirming care from Michiganders who depend on it. We need leaders who stand up for trans rights and dignity.
