Republicans say they’re protecting kids. Our founder Tyler Hack says look at what they’re actually doing:

They’re using trans people to distract from failed economic plans, while trying to strip Title IX protections and cover up the Epstein files. That’s not protecting kids’ safety.

For years, Republicans have warned that trans people in our communities would cause harm. That harm never came. Bathroom bans, sports bans, and healthcare bans solved nothing. All they did was take away safety and care from those who need it more.

It’s time for Democrats to change the conversation: which rights do we protect, not which ones do we take away?

While some politicians treat trans kids as bargaining chips, Governor Andy Beshear vetoed Kentucky’s sports ban and its sweeping ban on youth care, and he didn’t back down when asked about it live.

Our community’s votes, voices, and organizing power are not a blank check. They should go to leaders who defend us when it costs them something. Thank you, Governor, for defending trans rights and dignity.

A student asked Dr. Abdul El-Sayed how he’ll protect trans people’s access to lifesaving healthcare. His answer was direct: healthcare decisions belong between a patient and their provider. Congress has no place in that room.

He also affirmed the need to codify federal protections for LGBTQ+ people into law, so our rights don’t shift with every election cycle.

This is what it looks like when a candidate treats our healthcare as a right instead of a talking point.

Trump’s HHS recently published a bogus “study” linking trans support to political violence. Their method: label basic trans-affirming beliefs as “ideology,” then test justification of violence using only left-coded targets. No questions about the actual violence trans people face.

The data contradicts the premise: right-wing terrorist attacks killed 112 people from 2016-2025, left-wing attacks killed 13.

This isn’t research. It’s a script.

Natasha Cloud stood her ground. When a man showed up courtside trying to score points off trans people’s existence, over a “threat” that doesn’t even exist (there’s never been an out trans woman in the WNBA), she walked straight up and confronted him herself. He got escorted out by police. She stayed on the court.

That’s what protection looks like. Real solidarity shows up in the moment, not after the fact.

Trans women’s safety and every woman’s safety are tied together. Tasha gets that. That’s why she’s a legend.
