Virginia Democrats are at it again — trying to rig the system after failing to dominate at the ballot box!
In 2024, Kamala Harris barely scraped by with just 52% in Virginia. That’s no landslide — it’s a purple state where voters clearly want balance, not one-party rule.
Yet now, on April 21, Democrats in Richmond are pushing a constitutional amendment to throw out the bipartisan redistricting commission we voted for and let the legislature redraw congressional maps mid-decade. Their goal? Turn the current 6-5 split into a 10-1 Democratic lock.
They couldn’t win big enough at the polls, so they’re trying to take what they didn’t accomplish in 2024 by gerrymandering rural and suburban voices out of power. Hypocrisy alert: They loved “independent” maps when it suited them — now they’re overriding the will of the voters for raw power.
Republicans stand for fair elections where the people choose their representatives, not politicians choosing their voters. Two wrongs don’t make a right — especially when it’s a naked power grab.
