Stand Strong for Chris Hecht shirts now available!

Chief Chris Hecht continues to work hard daily in therapy to regain his strength and working on coming home. On July 9th he was transferred to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay to continue on his rehabilitation efforts with next step and goal of going home with outpatient therapy and support.

Since suffering a brain aneurysm rupture on April 11th while at a Fire Department Conference, Chris has encountered numerous procedures and endless medical expenses. In an effort to support Chris and Liz in his recovery a shirt has been created with help from the family. Shirts can be ordered online and a portion of the sale will go to the Hecht family to help offset these expenses.

There is also a benefit in the works for later this fall with more information on that to be announced at a later date. We would like to remind you to keep your fire numbers unobstructed, visable from both directions, and close to your driveway. In an emergency seconds can matter. If we have to search for a fire number, it just slows us down. This picture's a great example of how it should look.
