We were honored to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for UPMC Children's Rehabilitation Therapies in Washington and welcome them to their new home at 289 North Avenue!
As both community partners and neighbors, this collaboration is especially meaningful to us here at PathWays. Many of the Children at Your Child's Place utilize these therapy services, and having pediatric habilitation care just steps away helps create a more connected and supportive experience for the children and families we serve together.
Congratulations to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and everyone involved in this new chapter for our community!
This morning, we celebrated a special milestone with a ribbon-cutting alongside leadership from UPMC Washington, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, dedicated staff, and local families and children.
Beginning June 1, our rehabilitation therapy locations in Washington and McMurray will officially become part of UPMC Children’s Rehabilitation Therapies, expanding access to expert, family-centered pediatric care close to home.
“This is an exciting milestone for the families we serve… we are strengthening the connections to our nationally ranked pediatric specialty care while ensuring children and families can continue to receive high-quality, compassionate care close to home,” said Diane Hupp, president of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Families can continue seeing the same trusted therapists, now with enhanced connections to nationally recognized specialists from UPMC Children’s.
“Through our partnership with UPMC Children’s, we are enhancing access to specialized care and bringing even greater resources and expertise to the patients and families we serve locally,” said Brook Ward, president, UPMC Washington and UPMC Greene.
We’re proud to grow services in the communities we serve, making it easier for kids to get the care they need, right where they live.
