The No. 13-ranked Waterford Kettering Captains advanced to the regional finals for the first time in school history with a 1-0 victory over the St. Clair Saints on Tuesday night.

🏈 Waterford Kettering is thrilled to welcome our new Head Varsity Football Coach (and proud Kettering alum!), Bob Meyer! Coach Meyer brings 35 years of experience and a massive resume to the Captain’s sideline including 112 career wins & 14 playoff appearances, 4 District titles & a state semi-final run, MHSFCA Regional Coach of the Year and 2024 Detroit Lions Coach of the Week! He is a proven program builder who values the “student-athlete” and knows how to win. Welcome home, Coach!

🏀 Who needs March Madness when we have the Waterford Griffins?! 🥉 Congratulations to the Griffins Unified Basketball team who just wrapped up the 2025-2026 season with a bronze medal finish at the State Finals Tournament. This team was a combination of student partners from Waterford Kettering (thank you for your leadership 🫶) and Special Olympians from Kettering, Mott and Lifetracks, all united by a commitment to inclusion through sports. 🎉 Way to go everyone!
