Updated evacuation map. Rock Creek and Jenkins Creek will remain closed while the ranchers gather their cattle. Please avoid those areas, ranchers have been devastated by this fire. Give them the space to get their remaining cattle herded up.

I want to thank Tony Galli with Hata Electric, Brian Graham and Idaho Power for their quick work to get our repeater back up and running up Jenkins Creek. This houses the sheriff’s office south repeater, Weiser Fires repeater and the counties road and bridge repeater. Both Tony (Hata Electric) and Brian Graham did everything at no cost to the county. Idaho Power also moved us up the list of repairs needed to get us up and running. Bud Swank with Comfort Zone also came up and fixed the wiring and changed the filters in the ac units that cool the radio building.

Highway 95 is open!
Right now the fire has burned all the way west to the snake river and appears to be stopped there.
It is now making a push up Manns creek road near the reservoir at this time. Air and ground forces are still pushing hard to get it contained. Winds are not helping matters.
Be kind and patient, help out wherever and whenever you can. Trust that everyone out there is doing their very best to put an end to this. ♥️
