Feed the Hungry Pantry of PBC Our volunteers are dedicated to ending hunger in PBC. We can provide food for a healthy meal for pennies.

We give nutritious food such as meat, fish, milk, eggs, cheese, produce, bread and canned goods to 15,000+ families a week. Our volunteers give away the meat, produce, bread and canned goods for more than 1.1 million nutritious meals a year for our hungry neighbors.

🧡 WHAT DOES HUNGER ACTION LOOK LIKE?

It looks like groceries in the trunk of a family's car.

It looks like milk, eggs, cheese, meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, and bread making their way to neighbors who need them.

And sometimes, it looks like a mother and son cooking dinner together.

Monica is 65, disabled and caring for her disabled adult son. The groceries she receives from Feed the Hungry mean she worries less about how they will afford to eat.

She told us that on good days, she and her son plan their meals together. On great days, he helps her prepare them.

This is just one story among the tens of thousands of families we serve.

Hunger isn't something that happens somewhere else. It's happening right here in our community.

About 200,000 people in Palm Beach County are food insecure—meaning they don't always know where their next meal will come from.

Throughout September, we'll be sharing the story behind those numbers—and showing you how Feed the Hungry and our incredible community of volunteers, donors and partners are working every day to make a difference.

Because when our neighbors are hungry, we take action.

Mac & cheese. Peanut butter. Cereal. Pancakes.

To many of us, they’re just groceries.

To a child, they’re summer lunches.
To a senior on a fixed income, they’re peace of mind.
To a family struggling to pay rent, they’re one less impossible choice.

Every day, Feed the Hungry Pantry of Palm Beach County rescues nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and places it into the hands of neighbors who need it most. Last year, volunteers helped rescue about 7 million pounds of food, serving more than 216,000 neighbors across Palm Beach County.

“We don’t have much food at home right now…”

Those words are difficult to hear—but thanks to generous donors, this family left with enough food for the weekend.

This young girl wanted to personally thank everyone who made it possible.

Every week, Feed the Hungry Pantry of Palm Beach County rescues nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and shares it with seniors, veterans, neighbors with disabilities, and families facing difficult times. Last year alone, volunteers helped provide healthy food to more than 216,000 neighbors throughout Palm Beach County.
