Our 8th grade ELA scholars are taking learning beyond the page with Ms. Stanford’s Socratic Seminars! 🐯🧡

Through a variety of thought-provoking texts, students are engaging in meaningful conversations, asking questions, sharing perspectives, and building on one another’s ideas.

Socratic Seminars give our students the opportunity to strengthen their critical thinking, communication, listening, and comprehension skills while learning that every voice and perspective can add value to the conversation.

We are so proud to see our Tigers reading deeply, thinking critically, and confidently expressing their ideas! 🧡🖤

Thank you, Tiger Families, for joining us at Parent University: School to Home Connections! We appreciate your partnership and engagement as we work together to ensure every scholar has a successful school year.

During our session, families had the opportunity to learn more about upcoming parent involvement events, school safety procedures, meet our school administration team, and receive hands-on technical assistance with PowerSchool, First Day Packets, and MySchoolBucks.

Strong school-home connections help us continue building Strong Minds, Good Hearts. Thank you for your continued support, collaboration, and commitment to our Tiger community!

We'll be sharing tips and tricks to get the most out of PowerSchool, Schoolology, TalkingPoints, and MySchoolBucks. If you have any questions about these apps, or about anything so far this school year, please join us tonight at 5:30pm at Renaissance Charter School at Cypress.
