Richards School District is seeking a half-time Special Education Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. This special education teacher will be required to plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities who are in a grade span of 1st-3rd or 3rd-5th graders. The person in this position is responsible for creating a flexible program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible when supported with supplemental aides, accommodations, and other needed supports. The person will be expected to adhere to federal, state, and local laws when developing, writing, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEP). We have a busy week planned to close out Summer School 2026!
Please watch our pages everyday for what's happening tomorrow and possible changes.

MONDAY, MAY 18TH:
Fire truck/ water day. Please dress your kiddo ready for water and with extra clothes for after! Snow cones and a sack lunch!

TUESDAY, MAY 19TH: (Admission is $5 per student)
K and 1st grades will travel to The Kid Community
2nd and 3rd grades will travel to Super Bounce House
4th - 8th grades will travel to Skateland

WEDNESDAY, MAY 20TH :
PIZZA DAY!!
K-1st Grades will travel to the splash pad (Please send your kiddos ready for water and with extra clothes for after!)
2nd - 4th grades will travel to the Library
5th - 8th grades will travel to Mountain Home for bowling. Bowling is $5 per student and there is a concession stand they may bring extra money for.

THURSDAY, MAY 21ST:
CIVIC CENTER POOL DAY (Admission is $5 per student)
ONLY 1st - 8th grades will be attending

FRIDAY, MAY 22ND:
MAMMOTH SPRINGS STATE PARK
All students travel to Mammoth Springs and enjoy a picnic with a sack lunch or you may provide one.
**Important reminder students will be outside for appx 4 hours. Dress accordingly for the weather, sun and pack water bottles.

🚀 8th IN THE NATION! 🚀 Yesterday, the Richards Rocketry high school team crushed it at the National Finals, placing 8th out of the top 100 teams in the country! 🌟 Another incredible Top 10 finish for the books!
​And yes, they even made it to the front steps of the White House! 🇺🇸 So incredibly proud of these brilliant students and their hard work. Next stop: the future! 💫

**FIELD TRIP FRIDAY UPDATE**

FRIDAY, MAY 15TH THE BUSES WILL DEPART FROM RICHARDS AT 8:10AM!

YOUR CHILD WILL NEED TO BE AT SCHOOL BY 8AM TO INSURE THEY CATCH THE BUS. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STAY AT SCHOOL IF THEY MISS THE BUS.

K-3RD WILL BE WATCHING SHEEP DETECTIVE

4TH - 8TH WILL BE WATCHING SUPER MARIO
