• Enhance relationships with the news media

An official City social media account is defined as any account created or maintained by the City that represents it as a whole, a City department, program, service, or event, using official City branding and content. This does not include personal or professional accounts like LinkedIn. Public Engagement
When interacting with the City of Whitehall on social media, please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Relevance: Comments should be relevant to the topic being discussed.
• Language: Profane, obscene, or offensive language is prohibited.
• Discrimination: Content that promotes or perpetuates discrimination based on race, creed, color, age,

Following yesterday’s severe weather, we have several road closures and traffic signal outages. Please review the latest updates below to help plan your commute.

CLEARED:
• Robinwood Road is open.
• The underpass from 5th Avenue to Hamilton Road by the YMCA is open.

CLOSED:
• Maplewood Avenue: Etna Street to Washburn Street due to a live wire.
• Fairway Boulevard: Etna Road to Greenwood Road due to a live wire.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL OUTAGES:
• Etna Road at Yearling Road
• Etna Road at Beaver Avenue

UPDATE: Main Street and Broad Street traffic signals are operational.

Please use caution while traveling and check back for additional updates as conditions change.

Building a Better Whitehall 🚧

Improvements on Yearling Road are officially complete, marking another step forward in enhancing our city’s infrastructure. With that work finished, crews are now shifting focus to Doney Street, where long-awaited upgrades are underway.

This next phase will include new curbs and fresh pavement, helping improve safety, accessibility, and the overall look and feel of the corridor. We appreciate your patience as we continue investing in the roads that keep our community moving.
