HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION REMIDER FROM THE SALINE COUNTY ASSESSOR’S OFFICE
The deadline to file your 2026 Homestead Exemption application is quickly approaching. The Nebraska Homestead Exemption Application (Form 458) and Income statement must be filed on or before Tuesday, June 30th. Just a reminder that the courthouse will be closed on Friday, June 19th to observe Juneteenth.
There are a few options that applicants can take to submit their application and income statements to the courthouse. Applicable methods are by bringing them into the office during business hours, mailing them by U.S. mail or by using the county drop box which is located on the west side of the building along High Street.
