📚🚍 SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW! 🚍📚

The Wild Rose Fire Department wants to wish all of our students, teachers, staff, bus drivers, and families a safe and successful school year! ❤️

With school back in session, PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND STAY ALERT! 👀

🚍 School buses: Stop when the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is out. Give buses plenty of room and never pass a stopped school bus.

🚸 Kids walking & biking: Watch carefully for children crossing roads, walking along the roadside, and riding bikes to and from school.

🏫 School zones: Slow down, put the phone away, and pay extra attention. Kids can be unpredictable and may step into the roadway unexpectedly.

🚗 Parents & drivers: Give yourself a little extra time in the morning and afternoon. A few extra seconds of patience could prevent a tragedy.

👮‍♀️ Everyone: Be patient, be aware, and expect the unexpected.

Let’s all do our part to make sure our kids make it to school safely AND back home safely every day. ❤️

It is back to school time and you are going to start seeing those big yellow buses 🚌
Here are a few tips!

✅ Kids should be waiting at least 10 feet from the bus .
✅ Drivers must stop at least 20 feet from a school bus with flashing red warning lights.
✅ Stay alert, particularly in school zones and near bus stops.

It’s National Emergency Management Awareness Month.🚨

But what is emergency management?🤔

It is a team effort. From fire and police departments, emergency operations centers, hospitals, schools, health agencies, utilities, nonprofit organizations, and volunteer groups. Each partner from the local level to the federal level plays a crucial role in preparing, responding to, and helping communities recover from disasters or emergencies.💪

This month is about celebrating and recognizing the power of working together and celebrating the work done behind the scenes.🎆

The members of the Wild Rose Fire Department extend our deepest thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences to the Eau Claire Fire Department, Bryce Jungbluth’s family, friends, and the entire community as they mourn the tragic line-of-duty loss of one of their own.

The fire service is one family, and we all grieve alongside you. May you find strength in each other, comfort in the memories shared, and peace in knowing your fallen brother's service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Rest easy, brother. We have the watch from here.

The Wild Rose Fire Department would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to all of our neighbors in the Fox Cities following today's devastating tornado.

Our hearts are with everyone affected, including the families, first responders, and communities working through the aftermath. We are grateful for the courage and dedication of the emergency personnel responding to this disaster and wish everyone safety and strength in the days ahead.

Please continue to keep those impacted in your thoughts and prayers.

WOW, Wild Rose... did you show up or what?! 🎉

This may have been the BEST Wild Rose Days Parade EVER! The creativity this year was incredible, with so many amazing businesses, organizations, and community groups putting together fantastic floats. You all absolutely knocked it out of the park!

And the water fights... 💦 let's just say A LOT of water was sprayed, splashed, and dumped! 😂 Way to take on us firefighters—you definitely gave us a run for our money!

Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, cheered along the parade route, and helped make this year's celebration one to remember.
