Reminder! FREE Landfill Day in Williston is tomorrow, May 21st, from 8 am to 2 pm! Also, for those unaware, all loads must be secured with either a tarp or tie-down straps!

Hey Williston! 👋 Due to heavy rain and increasingly muddy roadway conditions at the City Landfill, Free Landfill Day has been moved a ✨NEW DATE.✨

📣Free Landfill Day will now be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 8am to 2pm!📣

Review what is accepted at 👉https://www.cityofwilliston.com/departments/public_works/waste_acceptance.php

Restrictions include:
❌Limit of 4 tires per load
❌NO lead acid batteries
❌NO liquids
❌ NO waste oil
❌NO commercial, industrial, or contractor business will be allowed free disposal [normal rates will apply]

The City of Williston Public Works Department would like to remind all residents that the City's Tarp Ordinance [No. 626] requires anyone hauling to the City Landfill to utilize an enclosed or tarped vehicle to haul refuse. Violation of this ordinance can result in a $25 fee. The purpose of this ordinance is to reduce the amount of refuse blowing out of a vehicle onto the road.

Questions?🤔 Please contact the City Landfill at 701.577.8123 or Public Works at 701.577.6368.

🎉We have some fun news for on this rainy Friday! The Williams County Parks Department is excited to announce the launch of an online reservation system for Little Egypt! 💻🏞🚍Online reservations will be available for the rest of our parks in mid-June.

Cash or check will still be accepted day of, but now at Little Egypt campers will have the option to reserve a site in advance, or day of, online and pay with a credit card. A limit for how far in advance a site can be reserved will not be in place this year, but is likely for future years. Camping fees remain the same as previous years: $10 per night for primitive sites and $15 per night for sites with electricity. A $3 service fee is applied to each online reservation.
