Hannahville FACE Program Welcome to FACE (Family and Child Education), where we are keeping the circle strong! Center Base: An accredited preschool program for children ages 3-5.

FACE (Family and Child Education) is a unique Native American program that focuses on the whole family and ensuring family well-being. FACE has the amazing ability to individualize services for each family and their needs. Home Base services: A certified Parent Educator provides eligible families ages prenatal to age 3 with bi-weekly home visits. We provide parenting information, child development

information, development screenings, links to community resources and enrollment in Imagination Library monthly book club. Provides Kindergarten readiness skills through play. Parents have the ability to engage with their children during PACT time (Parent and Child Together) and opportunity to share meals family style. Adult Education: For adults looking to attend college, gain a GED, build job skills, computer literacy and desire to be a life long learner. Parents will share and learn more about parenting. They will have the opportunity to listen to guest speakers on topics such as: Discipline, Relationships, budgeting, health nutrition, wellness and more. Monthly Family Circles will be provided for all families to attend which will provide families resources and variety of topics. Free transportation, meals and childcare. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents. You are not alone~ FACE is here to help you access the resources that your family needs.

We believe that parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. Reading together from the very beginning helps build language, strengthens relationships, and creates a lifelong love of learning.

FACE families, your ideas matter! 💙

As we plan for the upcoming school year’s FACE Family Circle events, we would love to know what you and your family would enjoy.

✨ What topics would you like to learn about?
🎨 What kinds of crafts, skills or hands-on activities would you like to do?
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 What family events or special activities would you like to attend?

Some ideas include:
📚 Family literacy nights
🍳 Cooking activities
🎨 Seasonal crafts
🌱 Gardening
🧸 Child development and parenting topics
🪶 Potawatomi culture and traditions
💪 Health and wellness
🎉 Family game nights

Please share your ideas in the comments or send us a message. We want to create Family Circle events that are fun, meaningful, and centered around the interests of our families!

❤️ Families are always welcome to help plan, organize, or volunteer during Family Circle events. If you have a special talent, skill, or hobby you'd like to share, we would love to hear from you!

🤝 We are also looking for community members and presenters. If you know someone who would be willing to share their knowledge or lead an activity on a topic of interest, please send us their contact information or tag them in the comments.

We unfortunately have decided to cancel and reschedule the Summer Playgroup that was rescheduled for today, June 18th due to the persistent rain that is forecasted. We went down to the Powwow Grounds, and the area surrounding the pavilion is wet and muddy from the rain. It’s also fairly chilly outside for little ones and families. We will post a new date and time for this playgroup ASAP, but there is another playgroup scheduled for next Thursday, June 25th. The Hannahville FACE Program is now enrolling families! All services are FREE, and we are here to support children and families every step of the way.
