Thank you all for coming to our July Monthly Meeting.

What a great Zoom meeting with 34 members and supporters in attendance! We heard updates from four outstanding candidates, as well as representatives from Rebecca Bennett’s campaign for Congressional District 7, all sharing their vision for the important work ahead.

Members were encouraged to purchase their tickets now for Swing by the Armory on September 15 and take advantage of the early bird pricing while it’s still available.

With fewer than 100 days until the November midterm elections, we also emphasized the critical importance of getting out the vote. There are many opportunities to volunteer, and every effort will make a difference as we work together to elect strong Democratic candidates.

Our next monthly meeting is set for Tuesday, July 28th at 7 p.m. More details to follow.

Last month - June 23rd, MCFDW and the Middlesex County Young Dems hosted a Get to Know the Candidates forum at the Monroe Township Library. With a turnout of 60 people we were able to network and connect with a large group to support women running for political office. Hearing from each candidate was inspiring, motivating and galvanizing. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Thank you to the Middlesex County Young Dems for the wonderful collaboration and thank you to all of the candidates that spoke to our membership. We are eager to support your endeavors in the future. May we continue to empower, educate and elect women to office in Middlesex County!

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday this Independence Day, let us also celebrate the progress women have made and recommit to electing women to public office. The work continues, and every vote matters. Let’s Get Out the Vote this November and continue building a nation founded on equality, respect, and opportunity for all.
