INTRODUCING KILAUEA!
My name is Kilauea! I am a 1 year old, spayed, American Staffy Mix, and weigh 50 pounds.
I am a rambunctious little lady with so much fun energy. I love to run and play, especially with my sister Pompeii! I am energetic, but I also have my friendly and loving side. I am always smiling, especially when getting my energy out while running outside. I love spending time playing with toys and enjoying the sunshine. I like playing in the puppy pool and chasing a tennis ball. I also really love going on walks and getting some ear scratches along the way!
While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks I would be best with older kids since I do have a lot of energy. As long as they are kind and respectful towards me, we will get along!
I am dog friendly, but I do tend to get overwhelmed when there are too many dogs. I can go to smaller playgroups here at the shelter and I am co-housed with my sister, Pompeii!
I do not have a known history with cats.
I would do wonderful with an active family, or one that allows me to get my energy out. I really am a loving and deserving girl and would do wonderfully with a tolerant dog, or as the only dog in the home.
