The District’s social media pages are managed by the Communications Department for the purpose of sharing events, achievements, emergency information, and other news. To protect the rights and privacy of District One students and

staff. Page administrators reserve the right to remove any comments (especially those deemed inappropriate or malicious) at any time, for any reason. The following social media terms and conditions apply to any official District One social media page, including official social media pages of any of its schools. Comment Removal
Page Administrators reserve the right to remove any comments made on District One’s posts that contain:
-Conduct that violates the terms and conditions of the applicable social media platform (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
-Illegal conduct or encouragement of illegal activity
-Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates prohibited discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation
-Conduct that is threatening, inciting, harassing, or bullying
-Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party, such as copyright or trademark infringement
-Information that is false
-Content that compromises the safety or security of District One, any of its schools, staff, or students
-Personnel information, individually identifiable student information, or other confidential material
-Profane language or content
-Promotions of services or products
-Promotions of political candidates or organizations
-Sexual harassment or sexual content
-Solicitations of commerce or advertisements including promotion or endorsement
-Spam or comments that include links to external online sites, including comments that are unrelated to the original District One post
-Conduct that is otherwise in violation of School Board policies or that reasonably may lead to the substantial disruption of or material interference with District One school operations

Comments in violation of these terms and conditions may be removed from the applicable District One official social media platform. Continued or egregious violations may prompt District One to further restrict an individual’s commenting on official District One social media platforms. Notices
Individuals should be aware that their comments are public and may be subject to the Freedom of Information Act and records retention requirements. District One may be obligated to retain public comments in its records and/or disclose the information if requested. Public comments expressed on District One’s social media pages do not reflect the opinions and position of the District One School Board, District One, and its schools, officers and employees. By posting to District One’s social media pages, you acknowledge and agree to the Code of Conduct set forth from the district.

At Roosevelt Elementary School, students are making the most of their summer by exploring their creativity, building exciting volcano projects, practicing their artistic skills, and participating in fun collaboration activities with their classmates. From student desks to collaborative learning spaces, each selection is being carefully considered to create a comfortable, modern, and engaging environment where students can learn and grow. 💙

Today at Fourth Avenue Jr. High, students enjoyed a tasty meal served with a smile by our amazing cafeteria team. ❤️

Free breakfast and lunch are available for all children 18 and younger every weekday through July 17 (closed July 3). Join us this summer!

🍎☀️ Our Summer Food Program begins Monday, June 1!

Children ages 1–18 can enjoy free meals all summer long at six Yuma School District One locations across Yuma County, regardless of income.

Per USDA guidelines, children must be present to receive a meal, and meals must be eaten on site. We look forward to serving our community this summer!
