We’ve only had a few Eagles who were not in uniform or were wearing “freestyle” type uniforms. Thank you for your cooperation!

Here is a uniform reminder from the Parent Handbook on our website:

White or navy blue polo style uniform shirts must have the DVA logo embroidered on the left chest. All uniform shirts will be required to have the DVA logo by August 24th.

DVA spirit shirts may be worn on designated spirit days (Thursdays).

Navy blue or khaki uniform style skirts, jumpers, skorts, shorts, capris, pants complete the DVA uniform. Jumpers must have the DVA logo and are worn over the designated DVA polo shirt. Leggings, spandex, warmups, sweatpants, etc. are not considered uniform attire.

⚠️DVS Traffic Update: Parking Lot & Car-Rider Tag Procedures⚠️

Dear DVS Families,

Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we work to reduce arrival and
dismissal congestion around campus. To keep traffic moving safely and efficiently, please review the following important updates:

Parking Lot Traffic Routing (Starting Today): If entry into the parking lot becomes too
congested, staff will temporarily direct all incoming traffic into the Car-Rider Queue.

Check Backpacks for Car-Rider Tags: Car-Rider tags are being sent home with students
today! Please check your child's backpack this afternoon and ensure your tag is always
displayed in your vehicle at dismissal. If you do not have a tag, or have one but lost it, please contact the school office.

Tag Policy (Starting Thursday): If you do not have your Car-Rider tag and are routed into
the Car-Rider Queue, you will be required to go around and re-enter after parking lot
congestion clears.

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and our pick-up process running as fast as possible!

Thank you, DVS families! Morning drop-off flowed amazingly well today. Your incredible cooperation in using the car-rider queue minimized congestion and kept everyone moving safely!

Quick Afternoon Pro-Tip: Pickup gates are open from 12:05 to 12:45 PM. The biggest rush is right at 12:05, so aiming for the middle-to-later window (around 12:25-12:40 PM) will get you in and out much faster today!

⚠️Pro-Tip: Save Time at Afternoon Pickup!⚠️
Arriving early before dismissal creates the day's longest line. Our queue gates are open from 12:05 PM to 12:45 PM, and the heaviest congestion happens right at the start.
If you want a faster, hassle-free pickup, aim for the middle-to-later part of the window (around 12:25 PM – 12:40 PM). Spreading out our arrival times prevents gridlock, clears the queue much faster, and gets you on your way in a fraction of the time!
