Graduation Update

Gates open at 6:00PM

We think we are going to be ok…might have another round of storms prior to the start at 8:00PM.

This Friday, May 22nd, K13 Media will be in Zebulon to live-stream the graduation ceremony for Pike County High School. The graduation program is scheduled to begin at 8pm. Our coverage will begin at 7:45pm with a special opening message from Principal Chad Kollert.

Graduation Weather Update
We believe that we will be able to have the ceremony tomorrow night with the current forecast, however, a few points of emphasis:
1) Pike EMA will be onsite before, during and after the ceremony to provide weather updates as they are available.
2) We will proceed if rain is the only weather that we are experiencing.
3) In the event severe weather (lightning) is in the area, we will delay or suspend activities until it is safe to resume.
4) IF there is absolutely no way (multiple attempts or weather that just is not going away) to continue on Friday night, we will move the ceremony to Saturday morning at 10:00AM.
