The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is comprised of three Divisions.

- The Department of Foreign Policy is responsible for coordinating St. Vincent and the Grenadines' relations with foreign governments, as well as regional and international organizations.

- The International Trade Department is charged with the responsibility of coordinating, facilitating, policy formulation and

implementation; and the monitoring of trade at the local, regional and international levels. It also seeks to create opportunities for St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the field of foreign trade through the negotiation and monitoring of the relevant agreements and treaties.

- The Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit - is the unit that bears the responsibility for leading the country's thrust for deeper integration in the OECS and CARICOM. It is also charged with the establishment and strengthening of links with the Vincentian Diaspora as part of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' strategic development focus.

The Department of Diaspora Affairs within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs and the Consulate General’s Office in New York, invite members of the Vincentian community in New York to join the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Honourable Dr. Godwin Friday, for his first diaspora outreach in New York.

Also joining the engagement will be Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, the Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble.

Come out, connect, share your views and be part of the conversation as the Government continues to strengthen its engagement with Vincentians abroad.

The Embassy of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United States of America has opened a book of condolences for the late Honourable Alpian R. O. Allen, M.B.E, former Parliamentarian and Minister of Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The book will be available for signature at the Embassy, located at 1629 K St NW, Suite 704, Washington D.C., from Wednesday 2 September 2026 to Tuesday 8 September 2026 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
