Today, the Samoa First Union were part of the Monitoring & Evaluation, and Organizing Implementation training facilitated by the UNI Global Union Asia Pacific at the SFU office.

Pacific Lead Organizer, Sailesh Naidu and MERL, Communication and Digital Organizer, Nanise Sivo facilitated the sessions which focused on Mapping and Organizing members in the workplace and the importance of workers unions to digitally collect data and utilize social media as an effective tool for Organizing.

Led by Lead Organizer and Executive Officer, Saina Tomi Setu Fetalaiga shared that this training will truly impact the union in terms of organizing and mapping in the workforce for Samoa, moving forward.

The Union wish to extend their appreciation to UNI Global for conducting this training in Samoa and providing a platform for SFU to successfully work towards achieving Organizing targets in the future.
