🎓 Celebrating 266 Childcaregiver Graduates in Pretoria.

HWSETA proudly celebrates 266 Childcaregiver (CCG) graduates who were recognised at the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Graduation Ceremony held on 27 October 2026 at Diep in die Berg, Disselboom Avenue, Pretoria East, Gauteng Province.

The ceremony recognised the skills, knowledge and experience of childcaregivers, highlighting the importance of formal recognition in strengthening skills development and creating opportunities for professional growth within the childcare sector.

🎓 331 GRADUATES. ONE MILESTONE WORTH CELEBRATING!

The celebrations are underway! 👏🏾

Today, HWSETA, in partnership with the Department of Social Development (DSD), is hosting the RPL graduations at Apple Blossom Hotel in Roodepoort, celebrating 331 graduates whose skills, experience and dedication are being formally recognised.

This milestone also marks an important step forward as graduates previously recognised as Community Caregivers transition to recognition as Child and Youth Care Workers.

Earlier, HWSETA Chairperson, Dr Nomfundo Mnisi, joined a Jozi FM radio personality on the Mid-Morning Chat Show: Gospel Edition to discuss the graduations.
