Final Day: Wrapping up the CSPS Sectoral Strategic Planning Session!

We have reached the conclusion of our three-day engagement for the 2027/28 Planning Cycle. Today, 18 September 2026, we finalized our strategic outlook at the Anew Hotel Centurion, Pretoria.

Under the theme "Advancing a national reset agenda through a responsive oversight", the final day's agenda focused on consolidation and the way forward:

We continue our three-day engagement for the 2027/28 Planning Cycle at the Anew Hotel Centurion, Pretoria.

Under our theme "Advancing a national reset agenda through a responsive oversight", today's session features:

Provincial Secretariats Updates: Reports on the Community Patroller Programme and high-level impact projects regarding the implementation of ICVPS from all nine provinces (EC, FS, GP, KZN, LP, MP, NC, NW, WC).

We look forward to productive deliberations today as we continue to strengthen our strategic outlook.

Day 1 of the CSPS Sectoral Strategic Planning Session for the 2027/28 Planning Cycle kicked off today at the Anew Hotel, Centurion, Pretoria — running from 16–18 September 2026.

Under the theme "Advancing a national reset agenda through a responsive oversight," the session brings together the Minister, the Secretary for Police Service, DPME, SAPS, National Treasury and other key stakeholders to chart the sector's strategic direction.
