[ICYMI] Case Closed Campaign feedback session

On 30 July 2026, the Civilian Secretariat for Police Service (CSPS) was on the ground in Makapanstad, North West Province, to give feedback to community members on complaints they had raised.

This follows the joint case closed campaign and Stakeholder Engagement held on 21 November 2025 in Hammanskraal, where residents first registered their concerns about police service delivery.

CSPS remains committed to ensuring that complaints from communities against the police are heard, investigated, and resolved — and that complainants receive real answers.

[MEDIA INVITATION - ACTING NATIONAL COMMISSIONER TO ANNOUNCE NEW PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONERS IN FOUR PROVINCES]

The Acting National Commissioner of the South African Police Service (SAPS), Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane, together with the respective Premiers and Members of the Executive Councils (MECs) responsible for Community Safety and liaison, will announce the appointment of new Provincial Commissioners in the Western Cape, North West, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga provinces.

These appointments form part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership within the South African Police Service, in line with the organisational renewal programme and reinforce the organisation’s commitment to professional, ethical, accountable and effective policing in support of the SAPS Reset Agenda.
