Afternoon: Partly cloudy, slightly windy and warm to hot with isolated showers over Lundazi, Chama, Mporokoso, Nakonde, Mafinga, Mbala and the surrounding areas. Maximum temperature will range between 25°C and 35°C.
Evening: Partly cloudy, windy at times and warm to mild.

Lusaka Province including the western parts of Central and southern parts Eastern Provinces:
Afternoon: Partly cloudy, slightly windy and warm to hot. Maximum temperature will range between 28°C and 33°C.

🌾⛈️ 𝐙𝐌𝐃 & 𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏 𝐀𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔/𝟐𝟕 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍

The Zambia Meteorological Department (ZMD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and UNDP has held a 3-day workshop in Nanguwa District to sensitize Agriculture Extension Officers on the upcoming seasonal forecast.

The training, conducted by ZMD Principal Meteorologist Mr. Felix Imbwae, is aimed at equipping field staff with weather and climate information so they can guide farmers to make informed decisions on crop selection, planting dates and climate-smart interventions.

Luangwa District Senior Agriculture Officer Mr. Benjamin Phiri said his team will go flat out to disseminate the advisories to farmers across the district.

Beneficiaries like Mr. Goodman Sichalwe of Chisogo Camp have thanked ZMD for the timely information, saying the 10-day and monthly forecasts will help farmers know when to plant and how to manage their fields.

This initiative is key to building climate resilience for our farmers.

Western, Southern, Lusaka and Copperbelt Provinces including the western parts of Central and the southern parts of Northwestern Provinces:
Mainly clear, windy at times and mild to cool.
