Each year, healthcare professionals across Lusaka Province join the global community in commemorating the Medical Laboratory Professionals Week from 19th to 25th April.
World Medical Laboratory Week recognizes the vital, behind-the-scenes work that sustains our healthcare systems. While laboratory work often goes unseen by clients, it remains fundamental to quality patient care.
Every accurate test result represents a quiet triumph of science, technology, and professional expertise. This year’s theme, _“To Infinity and Beyond Our Patients,”_ reflects these behind the scenes heroes and medical detectives' commitment to pushing boundaries in diagnostics, innovation, and patient-centered care.
The Global Medical Laboratory Week provides an opportunity to celebrate these achievements and honor the dedication of all Biomedical Scientists and Laboratory Experts across the Province from rural health posts and district hospitals to tertiary and teaching hospitals. Your hard work, precision, and commitment save lives every day.
