🚐 Services Australia Mobile Service Centre is coming to Port Wakefield!

Need help with Centrelink, Medicare, myGov, or other Australian Government services? The Mobile Service Centre will be visiting Port Wakefield, offering free face-to-face support and information from Services Australia staff. They can assist with myGov accounts, Medicare and Centrelink enquiries, payment information, and more.

Please ensure you register your dog or cat before the August 31, 2026 to avoid any late fees.
If your pet has been rehomed or passed away, please contact council to update your DACO profile.

Council office physical closure Thursday, 27 August between 11am and 5pm

We’ll be undertaking essential works at our Balaklava Council Chambers to install a new generator to provide disaster and emergency backup, which means our Chambers will be closed from 11am to 5pm.

We’ll also be hosting a staff engagement session for part of this time. For any inquiries you can still contact Council on 8862 0800 or email [email protected].
