Further to a post a few weeks back involving Postie Rob on a horse, a big shout out to team at the Mid Richmond Historical Society for providing these photos of Sam Baxter and the following information:
* The first photo is Sam delivering mail to the Kelly home with Rosemary on the step.
* The second photo is Sam delivering mail to the dog at what was known as Henshaws shop.

For anyone who can invest time in reading our letter to our federal member we would be very grateful!

The future of our small post offices depends on them being able to offer the services the community needs. It is Aus Post rules that limit them even when locals have said they want that service including banking and parcel services.
