Today, students enjoyed watching The Silly Scientist Show, an interactive and engaging performance designed to promote positive attitudes towards science. The show aimed to demonstrate how science is an accessible and relevant part of everyday life. Through a combination of comedy, music, and hands-on experiments, students were introduced to a variety of scientific concepts in an entertaining and memorable way. The performance encouraged curiosity, participation, and enthusiasm for science-related activities.
Both students and staff thoroughly enjoyed the experience and found it to be an engaging and educational event.

Today was Day 2 of our Sports Carnival, with students taking part in our running races. Once again, students demonstrated the 3Rs throughout the day and should be commended for their excellent sportsmanship and participation. Events included the 800m, 400m, 200m, 100m and 50m races, with students giving their best effort in every event. A big thank you to our staff and parent helpers for their support, as well as the students from Nightcliff High School STARs program, many of whom are former students, for assisting throughout the carnival. The carnival concluded with the Sports Captains race, the Girls from STARS race, and our always-popular parent race. The winning House will be announced tomorrow afternoon. Here are a few photos from today.

Today we held the first part of our Sports Carnival, with field events for students in Years 3–6 and tabloid events for our Early Childhood students. It was wonderful to see so much sportsmanship on display throughout the day, with students showing resilience in their events and enthusiastically cheering each other on. A huge thank you to all our staff, parent helpers and CSC students for helping make the day run so smoothly. There was a fantastic vibe across the school all day, and we now look forward to tomorrow for Part 2 of the carnival with the running races. The big question remains — who will take the win: Earth, Forest or Ocean?
