We're looking for a WHS & Wellbeing Coordinator to help shape a positive safety culture across Edward River Council. This isn't just about policies and paperwork. It's about building a workplace where our people can thrive.

You'll lead WHS and wellbeing initiatives, coordinate training and compliance activities, support managers and staff, and champion programs that make a genuine difference to our team's health, safety and wellbeing.

You'll be equally comfortable talking strategy with our leadership team, investigating incidents, leading training or launching wellbeing initiatives that help our people thrive.

If you've got qualifications in WHS, Risk Management (or related field) and experience with WHS management systems, we'd love to hear from you.

Our library drop-in sessions provide a friendly and informal opportunity to learn about the new system, have your questions answered and receive personalised assistance registering for your vouchers.

The latest update on the Hardinge Street Road Reconstruction project is now available.

Works will continue through to mid-September, before temporarily pausing ahead of the Deniliquin Ute Muster. Road resurfacing is planned to resume in mid-October.
