Calling all Tasmanian dancers aged 17 to 26! Applications are closing soon for the Annie Greig Dance Scholarship 🩰

The scholarship supports Tasmanian dancers travel nationally or internationally to undertake professional development activities. One scholarship of $28,500 will be awarded in this round.

Quick Response Grants are now open!

Tasmanian artists, arts workers and organisations can apply for a Quick Response Grant through the Regional Arts Fund. Funding of up to $3,000 for individuals and $5,000 for organisations is available, with regular rounds held throughout the year.

Registrations for the Australian Performing Arts Exchange (APAX) 2026 are now open.

APAX is the national market and professional development gathering for performing arts workers across Australia. It is chance for the sector to reconnect, recalibrate, challenge assumptions, build relationships and take steps to move forward.

A reminder that applications are closing next week for the 2026 Tasmanian Writers and Illustrators Mentorship Program.

Authors and illustrators currently based in Tasmania are invited to apply, and entry is free. Mentorship recipients will be given the opportunity to develop their work with an accomplished and experienced mentor, and access valuable professional development programs hosted by the Australian Society of Authors.

Apply now for PAC Australia - APAX's Presenter Training Program (Course 2), Australia’s only specialised training program for performing arts presenters.

This unique training and networking opportunity is designed for staff new to presenting, current venue team members and staff seeking professional development to prepare for management.

Placements are available for a culturally and linguistically diverse or First Nations presenter from any State or Territory across the course.
