⛔️ Partial trail closure: North Esk River Trail

Due to forecast flooding, a section of the North Esk River Trail will be temporarily closed as a precaution from late Saturday morning (5 September), following Park Run.

The closure will affect the trail from just beyond the dog park entrance to Henry Street. Access to the dog park will remain available via the Hoblers Bridge Road entrance while the closure is in place.

We will provide an update once the trail has reopened. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

🕊 Father’s Day Memorial Service 2026 🕊

Father’s Day can be a time of celebration, but for those remembering a father, grandfather, partner, child or another special person who is no longer with us, it can also be a day of reflection and remembrance.

We warmly invite our community to join us at Carr Villa Memorial Park for our annual Father’s Day Memorial Service.

📅 Friday 4 September 2026
🕙 10.00am – 10.30am

Now in its fourth year, this special non-religious service provides an opportunity to come together, pause and remember the important people who are no longer physically with us, but remain very much a part of our lives.

Temporary partial closure: Princes Square public toilets.

Parts of the Princes Square public toilets have been closed while maintenance crews repair damage caused by ongoing vandalism. These works are also focused on applying protective treatments to help reduce the impact of future graffiti and vandalism.

We understand these facilities are important for our community, and we're working to keep sections open wherever possible during the works.

We appreciate the community’s patience while we work through this ongoing issue and thank everyone who helps care for our shared public spaces.
