We’re growing and on the lookout for a Field Service Technician to join our hardworking, good-humoured team.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Installing and servicing irrigation, pumping, and filtration systems – from paddocks to pump houses.

• Diagnosing faults and fixing problems (we love a solution-seeker).
• Helping customers with advice, quotes, and the right products – in the field and instore.
• Keeping things organised – from tools and parts to paperwork.
• Working closely with a team that has your back (and a decent sense of humour).
What You’ll Bring
• 1–3 years’ experience in irrigation or pump systems (preferred, but not a dealbreaker
if you’re eager to learn).
• Good communication skills – both with customers and your teammates.
• Basic computer skills for job tracking and comms (we won’t make you code
anything).
• Bonus points for a current electrical licence or Cert III in Irrigation.

Who we are:

Think Water Albury is a specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply, installation and maintenance of all irrigation, pump and filtration systems. As part of the Think Water network, the group is committed to providing solutions towards the rapidly changing landscape of water management throughout Australia. Due to business growth and growth in the region, we now require a Technician to join our team and lead from the front.



The Role:

Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, maintain and install a range of irrigation, pump and filtration equipment for our customers. This will involve, but not limited to, diagnosing, create a solution and carry out works to meet the needs of our customers, whether in the field or in-store as required, completion of all relevant paperwork relating to jobs undertaken both in the workshop and on site, materials take-off and ordering of parts and equipment as required, plan external jobs in conjunction with other staff members and managers in addition to the provision of technical advice and sales support to customers in-store and over the phone.



The Successful Candidate:

Ideally to be successful in this role you must have 1-3 years’ experience in irrigation pumping industry.

We will also consider somebody who is new to the industry and is willing to learn.

You will demonstrate a sound knowledge of a variety of pump types, the ability to diagnose problems and implement efficient solutions, a proven track record as an effective team player as well as a strong passion for superior customer service delivery. A drivers C class will be mandatory. Completion of a Cert III in Irrigation or equivalent, although not a necessity would be an advantage. Flexibility with working hours as Saturday morning work is required on a roster basis. The preferred candidate must also be willing to travel for training and work as and when necessary.



Responsibilities:

External field work
Consult with customers and contractors throughout all stages of the project and manage resources including vehicles required, stock record keeping, stock management
Accurately describe product features and benefits; technical advice and sales support to customers when required
Design solutions and provide quotes to clients
