WOMEN'S HEALTH MONTH πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ
Movement doesn't have to be complicated.
Whether it's a walk around the block, time spent in the garden, stretching in the morning, dancing in the kitchen or joining friends for a community activity, every movement counts.
Regular physical activity can help improve heart health, strengthen bones and muscles, boost energy levels, support better sleep and contribute to overall wellbeing.
This Women's Health Month, why not challenge yourself to add a little extra movement to your day?
Small steps can lead to lasting benefits.
After all, looking after our health isn't about being perfect – it's about making choices that help us stay active, independent and connected to the people and communities we love.

Many faces Monday

🧢 Behind Every Great Makers Market Is a Wonderful Team
As preparations continue for the August Makers Market in the lead-up to the Royal Adelaide Show, The South Australian Country Women’s Association Inc. is once again calling on the amazing talents of our members.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Lynette Brew, Chair of the Makers Market Committee, and the dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
From pricing and sorting donations to creating a welcoming display, there's a great deal that happens long before the doors open. Thanks to our comfortable new storage shed, the committee now has a wonderful space to prepare the many handcrafted items donated by our members.
Last year, our preserves, jams, pickles and chutneys proved so popular that we sold out early in the Show. This year we're hoping our talented members can help us keep those shelves stocked for even longer!
We're looking for donations of:
πŸ«™ Jams, pickles and chutneys (especially apricot jam – always a favourite!)🧢 Crochet items
🧺 Top hand towels
🧀 Fingerless gloves
🍲 Microwave bowl holders
🧡 Adult and children's aprons
πŸ›οΈ Small fabric shopping bags for customers purchasing their preserves
Every handmade item tells a story of generosity, skill and community spirit. By donating to The South Australian Country Women’s Association Inc. Makers Market, you're helping showcase the incredible talents of our members while supporting the work of our Association.
We are also still looking for volunteers to help in the marquee. Whether you can spare a few hours or several days, your help would be warmly welcomed.
Together, we're not just filling shelvesβ€”we're sharing the creativity, generosity and community spirit of The South Australian Country Women’s Association Inc. with the thousands of visitors who attend the Royal Adelaide Show each year.
