Mount Burr Trails Nature based walking/cycling trails. Mount Burr Trails Inc.

is a volunteer community group dedicated to creating safe, family friendly, nature-based trails and to the restoration of natural habitat surrounding the trails. The trails are shared use for walkers and cyclists with specific trails designed for the mobility assisted and future trails dedicated to mountain biking. This project has been, and continues to be driven, created and maintained by commun

Rosy Hyacinth-orchid (Dipodium roseum)
Despite the hot & dry weather, this amazing plant has emerged as usual in the heart of summer.
Only appearing as flowers on a leafless stalk, it cannot photosynthesise and develops underground in a complex relationship with specific fungi and certain Eucalypt species where the fungi grows. Native Orchid Society of South Australia
