What a fantastic week in Bundaberg!

CMCA Insurance Program Lead, Steve Cap, along with Charmaine, an important part of the wonderful team, have enjoyed an incredible week, welcoming a steady stream of members to the stand, answering enquiries and sharing plenty of stories along the way.

We've been delighted by the overwhelming response! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the CMCA Insurance stand for a conversation with the team. We've had so many great discussions, with plenty of conversations to follow up in the coming weeks.

From the friendly competition at the disc bowls event to catching up with members throughout the rally, it's been a wonderful opportunity to connect with the CMCA community.

This was CMCA Insurance's first National Rally, but certainly won't be the last! Thank you, Bundaberg. See you at the next rally.

Registration for the 40th CMCA National Rally in Canberra 2027 is now open!
The rally will be held at Thoroughbred Park from 17 to 24 October 2027.

Please note that powered sites are currently unavailable, and a waitlist has been established. Unpowered sites and a designated self-contained camping area are still available.

Echuca, Vic becomes an RV Friendly Town!

Nestled on the banks of the mighty Murray River, Echuca is a historic river town steeped in paddle-steamer heritage and old-world charm. Once Australia’s largest inland port, it still boasts the world’s largest fleet of operating paddle steamers, along with a beautifully preserved wharf precinct that brings its 19th-century boom days to life. Together with its NSW twin town of Moama just across the bridge, Echuca makes an inviting base for riverside camping, waterskiing, wineries and relaxed country hospitality.

Visitors can really make the most of exploring Echuca and the surrounding region with short-term RV parking available at Rotary Park Echuca for up to 7 days. Parking is only available for self-contained vehicles at a fantastic rate of just $10 per vehicle per night. A dump point and water are available for those patronising the camping area, while the town’s public dump point and potable water are accessible at the BP Echuca on the Murray Valley Highway.

Step back in time at the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre, then head out onto the water aboard a historic paddle steamer for a leisurely cruise past towering red gums. The Murray is perfect for kayaking, fishing and waterskiing, while nearby Barmah National Park protects the world’s largest river red gum forest, with plenty of walking trails and birdlife to explore. Round out your stay with a visit to local wineries and breweries, or time your trip for one of the town’s popular events, such as the Riverboats Music Festival.
