Due to the rainy weather, we won’t be heading out to Ethel Creek today. Instead, we’ll be staying warm and cosy at the Youth Centre for an afternoon movie! 🌧️✨

Come along, relax with friends, and enjoy some popcorn and snacks while we watch a great movie together.

🌟 Meet Jax – Our New Team Leader, Youth Services! 🌟

We are excited to welcome Jax to the Newman Youth Centre team as our new Team Leader – Youth Services.

Jax brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, with a background in teaching and a Primary Education degree from New Zealand. Her passion for supporting young people, combined with her leadership experience and commitment to community development, makes her a fantastic addition to our team.

We look forward to the positive impact Jax will have on the lives of young people across our community. Be sure to say hello when you see her around the Youth Centre! 😊

A big thank you to the Fair Game team for visiting the Newman Youth Centre and delivering an exciting sports program for our young people. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, learning new skills, building confidence, and having fun through sport.

Hosted by Reconciliation WA, supported by BHP, and in collaboration with Shire of East Pilbara, this community event is an opportunity to come together, connect, and support meaningful conversations around reconciliation.
