Fantastic results for our swimmers at the 2026 Speedo Australia New Zealand Youth LC State Championships in Sydney.

A huge congratulations to Ena Markham who won 7 medals in the 12 years girls events:

🥇Gold: 200 backstroke
🥈Silver: 200 freestyle
🥈Silver: 100 backstroke
🥈Silver: 50 backstroke
🥈Silver: 50 butterfly
🥉Bronze: 100 freestyle
🥉Bronze: 50m freestyle

🏊‍♂️11yo Jett Purser had a top ten finish and a great PB time in the 50m breaststroke despite battling an injury.

🏊‍♂️10yo Liam Rowley also got a top ten finish, putting in a great swim and just narrowly missed a bronze medal in the 50m backstroke.

🎉 Congratulations also to our training friends from Bega Amateur Swimming Club
🏊‍♂️11yo Mia Gowing and 10yo Austin Lay put in great performances and came away with PB times.

🙏🙏🙏 A big thanks to Coach Bob for making the trip to support our young swimmers.

Congratulations to our swimmers who took part in the 2026 NSW Speedo Sprint Series Finals representing SESA South Eastern Swimming Association at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre

Swimmers from across the south eastern area came together to form one united team to compete against swimmers from Sydney and across New South Wales.

The meet was filled with medals, personal bests, and plenty of smiles, and the opportunity to compete in team relays!

Congratulations to Bega Valley swimmers Mia, Austin and Oliver from Bega and Pambula swimmers Ena, Liam, Tori, Jett and Ella.

And thank you to our marshall representative Skye Smith!

4 swimmers from SESA won medals on the day, including two from Pambula Swim Club:

• Ena Markham — Gold, Girls 12yrs 50m Backstroke

• Liam Rowley — Bronze, Boys 10yrs 50m Backstroke

CONGRATULATIONS to the swimmers who have progressed to the next level of Speedo Sprints, after the recent heats at Narooma:

Liam Rowley, Aiden Ruth, Jett Purser, Jack van Prooyen, Tori Purser, Ella Byrnes and Ena Markham are invited to compete at the 2026 Speedo Sprints series at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre later this month.
