REMINDER: The Pambula Community Swimming Club AGM is next Tuesday 1 September at 6pm at our Club Room at Sapphire Aquatic Centre, Pambula.

For current members, this coincides with a coaching session for our swimmers.

We hope all parents can join us!

SESA AREA WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 results

Bega Valley swimmers are counting their successes at the South Eastern Swimming Association’s winter championships at Batemans Bay on the weekend.

Pambula Community Swimming Club was represented by Tyra Purser, Jett Purser, Tori Purser, Ella Byrnes, Robbie Byrnes and Ena Markham.

Our training friends from Bega Amateur Swimming Club Noah Beht, Lily Byrnes, Ava Gowing, Mia Gowing and Matilda Johnston also swam great races.

Pambula Community Swimming Club came 6th in overall points, and Bega Amateur Swimming Club 13th, behind much bigger south eastern clubs.

We are so proud of our Bega Valley swimmers!

AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL NATIONALS!!

Congratulations to Pambula Swim Club’s Ena Markham who represented NSW at the School Sport Australia Games 2026 in Melbourne this week.

All states and territories in Australia plus a team from Fiji participated in the Games.

Ena qualified for this meet after her success at the NSW All Schools Swimming Championships at Sydney Olympic Park in May, joining 165 other swimmers across NSW to represent our state in Melbourne.

Ena won her heat in 50m backstroke to make the final, where she came 4th in a nail biting finish with a personal best time.

Making a final at a national competition is an amazing achievement. Congratulations Ena!

NSW Short Course Country Championships success!

Well done to our Bega Valley swimmers who attended the recent NSW SC Country Championships at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.

Jett Purser, Tori Purser and Ena Markham represented Pambula Community Swimming Club

Our training friends Rylan Byrnes and Lily Burns represented Bega Amateur Swimming Club
Rylan swam 7 personal best times from 8 events. Well done!
