Building on the move!
In 1934, at Canning Dam, a public hall made of jarrah and fibrolite with an iron roof, was officially opened. A second hall was also built on the site.

In 1938, one hall became St Michael and All Angels Anglican Church.

🚚 This hall moved to a site on Brookton Highway, Roleystone (1941) and was rededicated as St Christopher’s Anglican Church. It was extended and later moved to Hall Road.

🚚 In 1982 it was moved to Cross Park to become the Guides Hall.

A new St Christopher’s in Hall Road was constructed with the new rector arriving in 1988.
