ANZAC Day 2026

The Port Hedland Fire and Rescue Service were honoured to attend the local ANZAC Day Service alongside South Hedland Volunteer Fire & Rescue and our community.

This was an opportunity to come together, reflect, and pay our respects to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We are incredibly proud of the turn out to yesterday’s service, and the respect shown throughout the service. It was a powerful reminder of the mateship and support that exists within our town.

Lest We Forget.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to our Open Night at the Port Hedland Fire Brigade!

It was fantastic to meet members of our community, show you around the station, and share what we do. We hope you enjoyed getting up close with the trucks, chatting with our volunteers, and learning more about how you can get involved.

A special thank you to the BHP ERT team and Hedland BFB for joining us for training—we really appreciate your support and collaboration.

If you couldn’t make it but are still interested in joining or supporting the brigade, we’d love to hear from you—feel free to reach out anytime or join us on a Tuesday at 6pm at the station.
