This page is intended to share information about Council, its services, events, programs and initiatives, as well as important information relating to the Rockhampton Region. We welcome and encourage your participation and feedback and we want to create a safe, supportive environment to allow everyone to participate in thoughtful and intelligent discussion. In return, we ask users to be respectful and courteous to others. All users of Facebook have the right to remove unwanted content posted by others on their page, and we reserve the right to moderate comments and remove any content that is considered to be inappropriate. Whatโs inappropriate?

- Spam;
- Profanity;
- Knowingly false, misleading or deceptive comments;
- Comments that are defamatory, obscene, offensive or otherwise unlawful;
- Comments that target or disparage and ethnic, racial or religious group;
- Advocating illegal activity;
- Infringing copyright; or
- Comments that are completely off topic and unnecessarily repetitive. Council reserves the right in its absolute discretion to permanently block any user for breaches to this policy. This page will be monitored during business hours (8am โ 4:30pm AEST), Monday to Friday - excluding public holidays. Message requests from Facebook are not considered formal correspondence. We will however endeavour to respond to service enquiries via Facebook wherever possible, but for a timely reply we encourage individuals to contact Council on (07) 4932 900, 1300 22 55 77 or [email protected] for a response to specific enquiries. User content published on this page may be used by Council in print, marketing material and other social and/or digital platforms. While we do our very best to moderate comments on our page, Council does not take responsibility for comments or discussions that have not been posted by our team, or those which contain links to third party content. Content that has not been posted by our team does not always reflect the views or opinions of Council. By interacting with our page, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Council, in its discretion, may modify or amend these Terms of Use from time to time, and modifications will be binding on all users once published.
